High-Rise Development: UES & Hudson Yards Transform Manhattan

    What's New in New York:

Several new projects spanning several asset classes - including a multifamily tower, hotel, and medical office building - are undergoing construction across Manhattan this year. The skyscrapers will bring new residential, retail, and industrial space to the city's growing skyline. Here's a look at the exciting projects underway in Manhattan’s Upper East Side and Hudson Yards.

22-Story Residential Building Coming to the Upper East Side

A new residential tower is under construction at 300 East 83rd St on the Upper East Side. SLCE Architects designed the superstructure, and Lalezarian Group, a property management and development company, is overseeing its development. Once completed, the 235-ft tall building will include 70 residential units, ground-floor retail space, and a cellar. The units will average 1,203 sq. ft., and the building will total 84,266 sq. ft.

Construction has steadily progressed in recent months, and the superstructure is now rising above many surrounding low-rise buildings in the area. The project is expected to be completed by next fall.
