Tennessee Real Estate: Projects Push Forward With Strong Momentum
What’s New in Tennessee:
Tennessee’s real estate developers are not stopping this summer as they push forward on several exciting projects despite economic headwinds. The latest developments range from master-planned communities under development to recently completed Class-A office buildings. Here's the inside scoop.
New Master Planned Community in Gallatin
Tampa-based Kolter Land, an acquisition and development firm, is well underway in bringing a 655-acre master-planned community to Gallatin. The Nexus development will include a mix of single-family houses, villas and townhomes, an office park, and open space. The residential buildout, handled by multiple homebuilding companies, will take around five years to complete, and the commercial elements are expected to take nearly a decade.
The Moore Building Comes to Nashville’s Music Row
Atlanta-based national developer Portman and Creed Investment Company have delivered a new class-A office space named the Moore Building. Once completed, it will stand 16-stories tall with 236,000 sq. ft. of office space and 8,500 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail space near Broadway in Nashville's Music Row. The building has secured its first tenants, including legal advertising firm Whitehardt and Albany Road Real Estate Partners. Tenants are expected to move into the building in the summer of 2023.
