Uptown’s Tallest Office Tower Moves Ahead

The Bank of America Tower at Parkside is quickly rising across from Klyde Warren Park and will be the tallest office building in Uptown when complete. The 30-story, 500,000-square-foot tower just reached its Sky Lobby level, with full height expected by summer 2026 and delivery in 2027. Bank of America has pre-leased the upper floors, and the project includes standout amenities like a sky lounge, conference center, and park-facing terraces. Developed by KDC and Pacific Elm, the tower targets the growing demand for top-quality office space in walkable locations.

Frisco’s “The Mix” Breaks Ground on $3B Community

Frisco’s long-empty “hole by the tollway” is now under construction as The Mix—a $3 billion mixed-use development across 112 acres. Phase one includes a Whole Foods, 100K SF of retail, 115K SF of office, 635 residential units, and a central park. The project will eventually deliver millions of square feet of office, retail, housing, and hotel space, all anchored by walkability and green space. First openings are expected in 2026.

Lakeside Village Adds Entertainment & Hotel to the Lakefront

Flower Mound’s Lakeside Village is expanding with a 7-acre entertainment district featuring a new plaza, restaurants, trails, and a wedding chapel. It’s part of a $60M investment in infrastructure set to open by 2027. A 16-story, 207-unit luxury apartment tower will open in March 2025, followed by the Hotel Miramar, a 12-story Marriott-branded hotel with rooftop spa and lake views. The additions continue to build on Lakeside’s live-work-play appeal.
