Watch out Manhattan, Brooklyn is coming your way. Given all the attention on Manhattan development over the past few years, Brooklyn is on the rise with several exciting projects that are intended to transform the community. In addition to the beauty and attraction these projects will bring the borough, it will also increase the desirability for people to want to move into the area and make it their new home. With all that being said, here is a look at some of the most significant development projects Brooklyn has begun to see and will continue to see for years to come.
Olympia Dumbo, which is one of the tallest residential buildings in the neighborhood, is a very expensive, but beautiful, condominium building ranging from one to five bedrooms. Aside from the living space, the amenities, including an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis court, steam room, sauna, and spin studio, the building is nothing short of spectacular.
Stepping away from Olympia Dumbo, Brooklyn Point is weighing in as the tallest residential building in the entire borough of Brooklyn. Similar to Olympia in Dumbo, this building has several incredible amenities, including the highest infinity pool in the Western Hemisphere.
Now looking towards projects in much earlier phases, 270 Norstrand Avenue is a mixed-use development that was recently approved to be developed by BRP Companies. The building will be composed of mainly residential units, but it will also include some commercial retail space, a parking garage, and a community facility.
