It is a very exciting time for Los Angeles and the surrounding area with several new development projects underway or about to break ground. All the developments, whether it be a new LA Chargers facility or a new retail center, are shaping the way the city looks and continuing to drive growth within the community.
Los Angeles Chargers Headquarters
This past week, the construction loan for new training and office facilities for the Los Angeles Chargers was announced. This development is in partnership with local developers, Mar Ventures and Continental Development Corporation, and will consist of a massive office building with meeting rooms, a hospitality club, content studios, and a media center. The proposed plan also set to include 3 practice fields for the team and bleachers for spectators to enjoy. Completion is expected by Spring 2024.
Mixed-Use Development in Koreatown
Another exciting project in LA is a six-story, 157-unit development led by Jamison Services in Koreatown. The building has already broken ground and the community is beginning to get excited as the wood framing is near completion. The development will consist of apartment units ranging from studios to two bedrooms, along with available retail space on the ground floor for local vendors. The plans will also include a parking garage underground and is set to be completed by January of 2023.
The Lumia Apartments
Construction is underway for The Lumia Apartments, an apartment and retail development led by Serrano Development Group. The project just recently broke ground and is set to include 127 apartment units that will sit on top of the ground-floor retail space and underground parking garage.
