Santa Monica city council has approved the new building designed by Frank Gehry. The project dubbed the Ocean Avenue Project is a mixed use development that includes a hotel, shopping, a museum, restaurants, and housing. It will receive a LEED Platinum rating, the highest rating given by the US Green Building Council. Worth Real Estate Group is the developer behind the project.
Development Updates in Santa Monica
48 units of affordable housing are to be developed by Community Corp of Santa Monica. The building will have parking for 49 vehicles and have apartments in three sizes: one, two and three bedroom units.
In downtown Santa Monica, a new mixed use project is on its way. Developed by both Witkoff and New Valley LLC, the project will have 249 units ranging from studios to three bedroom apartments for rent.
