Charlotte is on the rise and an attractive location for multifamily/mixed-use developers to take on their next project. Northwood Ravin and Crescent Communities, two prominent developers in the Charlotte region, have some exciting projects in store for 2024.
Construction Underway on Northwood Ravin’s Halo Decatur East Project
Construction began in January for Northwood Ravin’s 370-unit mixed-use development. Demolish began in the fall of 2023 and is set to be a mix of apartments and retail space. Northwood Ravin will manage the property once construction is complete. Plans also include a parking deck for the apartment complex. Also, a portion of the units will be affordable rental units. The project is anticipated to be complete in 2025 or 2026.
Crescent Communities Buys Davidson Site Near Lake Norman for Apartment Project
Crescent Communities is beginning their newest multifamily development project, which consists of 237 unit apartments. The project will be called “Novel Davidson”. Novel is Crescent Communities main multifamily development brand and has several others in Charlotte. Multifamily development projects make up about half of Crescent’s work. Excited to hear about more plans on this project as they come out.
