What's New in South Florida:
The South Florida development market remains an industry hotspot this summer thanks to the work of prominent local developers like Butters Construction & Development and Fortune International. From Boynton Beach to Miami, real estate developers are focused on executing multifunctional commercial and mixed-use developments. Here’s a sneak peek into several exciting projects in the pipeline.
Multifunctional Commerce Center “BC Boynton Industrial” Coming Soon
Prominent Florida real estate developers Butter’s Construction & Development and Channing Corporation have formed a joint-venture partnership to develop BC Boynton Industrial. The partnership recently acquired a 47.2-acre site at the intersection of Acme Dairy Road and Boynton Beach Boulevard, proposing the development of a multifunctional commerce center totaling 659,227 sq. ft. The site plan illustrates eight buildings with spaces designed for warehouse, fitness, self-storage, and taproom/brewery facilities. The Palm Beach Zoning Commission will begin considering plans for the BC Commerce Center on August 3rd, 2023.
One Brickell City Centre Under Development in Miami
Related Companies and development mastermind Swire Properties have partnered up for the ongoing execution of the One Brickell City Centre project in Miami. The project is part of the second phase of a $1B mixed-used development, Brickell City Centre, and is expected to break ground in 2024. Standing 68 stories tall, the 1,040 sq. ft. super tower will crown Miami’s skyline, becoming the largest commercial office building on the East Coast (south of New York City). It will include amenities such as vehicle drop-off, fitness and wellness suites, event spaces, and a rooftop helipad.
Fortune International Proposes Luxury Condo Development in Miami
Fortune International has proposed the development of a 76-story vertical community in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Named “Ora by Casa Tua,” the tower will include 540 furnished, short-term residential rentals, four restaurant concepts, social lounges, wellness facilities, and a 24-hour market. Miky Grendene, founder of the coveted Miami restaurant Casa Tua, will be the development’s creative director. He envisions a space where people “rediscover relationships with themselves, others, and the natural world.” In collaboration with award-winning global architecture firm Arquitectonica and interior designer m2atelier, the official project timeline for Ora by Casa Tua is highly anticipated but not yet revealed.
