What’s New in Colorado:
Despite economic headwinds, residential real estate developers are pushing forward on a number of exciting projects in the Denver metro area. From build-to-rent townhomes to luxury single-family homes, here are the latest development updates for Colorado.
Luxury Community Under Construction in Arvada
The first group of home sites has been released in Arvada’s new luxury residential community: Canyon Pines. Developed by season real estate developer Chad Ellington, Principal of Canyon Pines Development Company, and Colorado brokerage, LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, the community is an ode to the relationship between architecture and the natural environment, and it is located along the eastern border of the Rocky Mountains.
Canyon Pines will offer 90 luxury homes spread across 180 acres and various amenities at full buildout. The eight available lots range in price from $525,500 to $1.3 million and span half an acre to more than 2 acres in size. Pricing is based on acreage, elevation, topographical features, and views.
Built-To-Rent Community in Planning Stage
Illinois-based real estate developer, Watermark Companies, is planning the development of a new community in the Denver metro area named Canvas at Gateway, offering 167 build-to-rent townhomes. The community will include two- and three-bedroom townhomes ranging from approx. 1,229-1,693 sq. ft., costing between $2,900 - $3,400 monthly rent. The firm plans to deliver the first townhome units by next spring and expects the project to be completed by the beginning of 2025.
