    Corporate Migration Drives Boom In Central Texas Real Estate Market

    What’s New in Central Texas:

    Several mixed-use, residential, and commercial developments are coming to Central Texas in 2023, including a host of new skyscrapers that rival some of the nation’s tallest buildings. The developments will satisfy some of the existing demand for office space, housing, and retail space driven by recent corporate migration to the state.     Country’s Second-Tallest Residential Tower Under Construction

    Local Austin real estate Wilson Capital plans to construct The Wilson Tower, a new residential building, this year. The 80-story project, led by Taylor Wilson, will become the tallest residential tower in Texas and the second-tallest in the country, including 450 units. The project is an incredible achievement for the young development mogul, who plans to break ground in the summer.

    Sixth and Guadalupe Grand Opening Coming Soon

    The grand opening of Austin’s Sixth and Guadalupe tower will take place early this year. The building was initially intended to house the new Meta headquarters. However, the tech giant has since opted to sublease the space instead. The 66-floor building had its topping-out ceremony last November and contains 19 levels of office space, 349 apartments, 14 floors of above-ground parking, and 10,000 sq. ft. of street-level retail.

    Waterline Tower Set To Open In 2026

    The Waterline Tower, developed by Dallas-based Lincoln Property Company and San Antonio-based Kairoi Residential, was poised to be Texas’s tallest tower before the announcement of the Wilson Tower. The mixed-use project, set for completion in 2026, will feature 700,000 sq. ft. of office space, 352 luxury apartments, and the “1 Hotel Austin”, a sustainability-focused line of hotels by SH Hotel Resorts. The Waterline will be a beautiful addition to the city’s rapidly growing skyline.
